DIRECTIONS - 

From the North: 

If you're coming from Owensboro, Kentucky - Take HWY 431S into Logan County. When you reach the HWY 68/80 By-Pass, turn left onto the By-Pass and get in the far right lane. After crossing the railroad tracks, turn right onto North Main Street. Continue south on Main Street until you reach Carrico Park Square. You must turn right onto the square, take the first right onto West 4th St. The Archives is 2 blocks ahead on the right, at the corner of West 4th and North Owen St. Street parking on the right is available, or you may use the parking lot on the left of North Owen Street. Keep in mind, North Owen is a one-way street; when leaving, you must turn left out of the parking lot.

If you're coming from Morgantown, Kentucky - Take HWY 79S into Logan County. When you reach the HWY 68/80 By-Pass, continue straight across the By-Pass; the road becomes Peyton Street. Follow Peyton Street until you reach 1st Street, then turn right. Go to the end of 1st Street and turn left onto North Main Street. Continue south on Main Street until you reach Carrico Park Square. You must turn right onto the square, take the first right onto West 4th St. The Archives is 2 blocks ahead on the right, at the corner of West 4th and North Owen St. Street parking on the right is available, or you may use the parking lot on the left of North Owen Street. Keep in mind, North Owen is a one-way street; when leaving, you must turn left out of the parking lot.

From the East: 

If you're coming from Bowling Green, Kentucky - Take HWY 68/80W into Logan County. Continue until you reach the traffic light at the HWY 68/80 By-Pass (you will have just passed through the red light at the Logan County High School.) Continue straight through the light, (there will be a hotel on your right.) Ahead, the road will split, stay to your right; the road becomes Franklin Street. Continue on Franklin Street until you reach the hard left turn onto East 4th, and continue thru the turn. Continue on East 4th to Carrico Park Square, you must turn right onto the square, then go half-way around the Square turning right onto West 4th St. The Archives is 2 blocks ahead on the right, at the corner of West 4th and North Owen St. Street parking on the right is available, or you may use the parking lot on the left of North Owen Street. Keep in mind, North Owen is a one-way street; when leaving, you must turn left out of the parking lot.

From the South: 

If you are coming from Franklin, Kentucky - Take HWY 100W into Logan County. Continue until you come to the HWY 68/80 By-Pass. Turn right onto the By-Pass and continue until you reach HWY 68/80; get in the off-set turning lane to turn left. Ahead, the road will split, stay to your right; the road becomes Franklin Street. Continue on Franklin Street until you reach the hard left turn onto East 4th, and continue thru the turn. Continue on East 4th to Carrico Park Square, you must turn right onto the square, then go half-way around the Square turning right onto West 4th St. The Archives is 2 blocks ahead on the right, at the corner of West 4th and North Owen St. Street parking on the right is available, or you may use the parking lot on the left of North Owen Street. If you are coming from Springfield, Tennessee - Take HWY 431N into Kentucky. Continue until you come to the stop light at West 9th Street, Maple Grove Cemetery will be on your left. Go straight through the light, the road becomes Nashville Street. Go 2 blocks and make the hard right turn onto West 7th Street, then make the hard left turn onto South Bethel Street. Go 3 blocks to the traffic light, you will have First Southern National Bank on your left and Walgreens on your right. Get into the far right lane and turn right onto West 4th Street. The Archives is 2 blocks ahead on the left, at the corner of West 4th and North Owen St. Parking is only available on the same side of the street as the building; it is easiest to continue to Carrico Park Square, turn right onto the square, keep left, and circle back to West 4th Street, if you wish to park on the street. Street parking on the right is available, or you may use the parking lot on the left of North Owen Street. Take HWY 68/80E into Logan County. When you come to the HWY 68/80 By-Pass, be in the left lane (not the turning lane) and continue straight through the traffic light; the road becomes Hopkinsville Road. Continue on Hopkinsville Road until you come to the traffic light with First Southern National Bank on the right, stay in the right lane. As you go thru the light, bear left onto West 4th Street, Walgreens will be on your right as you  make this slight turn. The Archives is 2 blocks ahead on the left, at the corner of West 4th and North Owen St. Parking is only available on the same side of the street as the building; it is easiest to continue to Carrico Park Square, turn right onto the square, keep left, and circle back to West 4th Street, if you wish to park on the street.
